It's that time of year again! The weather is turning colder and pretty soon there will be snow and ice outside. Make sure you are taking care of your treadmills as you transition from walking and running outside to inside on your treadmill. One of the best ways to do this is to have a separate pair of shoes that you only use on the treadmill. This keeps a lot of harmful dirt, gravel and salt off of the machine.
Something else to consider is that most manufacturers recommend lubing your treadmill at least once a year. Call us to do it for you and while we are there we will:
lube the deck and belt, lube the elevation mechanism, check all functions of your machine, check and adjust walking belt tension and alignment, check and adjust drive belt tension, clean motor compartment and inspect all wires and electronic components.
